The nobiliary court of the Cândescus, Râu de Mori

Imagine:
English
It lies in the center of Râu de Mori, Hunedoara County. The court was built in the 16th century on the ruins of old Roman edifices and it belonged to the Cândea family. The monument is made of a group of constructions including a residential building, the court chapel, the stable, dependencies, the mill and the church. Being “L”-shaped, the first floor of the building is sunk into the ground. Although included in the National Program of Restoration, after a few urgent repairs on the buildings that are still sanding, the works were abandoned.
